Jackie: I live and teach in Morden. I am a huge fan of the NHS and completely reject the coalitions's health reforms. I am sick of just moaning and want to take action. One of the things I can do is to persuade my neighbours and friends is to join me. Click on the Act Now page and do something!

Merton Parents for Better Food in School

I helped to set up this organisation in 2005, which successfully campaigned to improve the quality of school meals in the London Borough of Merton. We persuaded the council to ditch mass-produced, low-quality food and introduce new, healthy menus, with food cooked from fresh at each school. Check out the MPFBFIS website .
